AUDITIONS | The quirks of community theater Exercise your creative side by auditioning for Historical Fiction, a production that showcases the quirks of community theater. Set backstage during a local production about the life of Abraham Lincoln, director Mitch is determined to keep the performance on track despite costume malfunctions and questions regarding attention to detail and method acting. This comedy is for anyone who has ever spent time backstage or has wondered what goes on behind the scenes of community theater. Historical Fiction is a small show, with roles available for five women and three men. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Prepared monologues and resumes are appreciated, but not required. Performance dates for Historical Fiction are Friday, March 24, and Sunday, March 25, 7:30 p.m., at Edwards Place.
