   See some of the top films from around the world shown right here in central Illinois during the 15 th Annual Route 66 Film Festival. The two-day festival consists of five sessions of films along with a Friday night after-party and a Saturday evening awards ceremony and reception. The Friday film session runs from 7-10 p.m. and features films rated PG-13 to R. Saturday’s festivities are split into four film sessions. The second session of the festival runs from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and features family friendly (G-rated) films. The third and fourth sessions run from 1-3 p.m. and 4-6 p.m. and feature PG and PG-13 rated films including two shorts, a “made in Illinois” drama and two comedies. The fifth session runs from 7-10 p.m. and highlights five short films all rated PG-13 to R plus a wacky comedy. A free awards ceremony with filmmakers on site, complimentary hors d’oeuvres and live jazz music by Ocean State will occur immediately following the final session.
