FESTIVALS | Spectacular air and ground displays

The annual Powerlight Abe Lincoln Car Show Spectacular features hundreds of cars on show as well as a variety of air and ground displays to delight attendees of all ages. See the Transformers’ Bumble Bee stunt car along with several replica movie and TV cars, the Staab Harley hearse, the Mighty Crush Power Team, and a special tribute to military veterans and fallen police officers. Air events are weather permitting, and consist of a Saints Flight helicopter flyover and landing, hot air balloon demonstration and photo flyover. Don’t miss out on the Powerlight Super Cruise and Movie night on Friday, Aug. 5, when vehicles will proceed at 7 p.m. from the Fairhills Mall parking lot and cruise down Chatham Road to Knight’s Action Park, where attendees can enjoy special demonstrations, TradeWinds Eatery, and the Route 66 Drive-In.
