FAIRS & FESTIVALS | Food trucks at the fairgrounds

Enjoy cold beverages, delicious food and live music during the first annual Springfield Food Truck Festival hosted by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.

The festival will be held on Saturday, July 23, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Conservation World on the grounds of the Illinois State Fairgrounds near gate 7. Confirmed food truck vendors include 17 th Street BBQ, The Horseshoe Hut, SideWinders Food Truck, Carter’s Fish and Chips, Fry If You Want To, Vose’s Korndogs, Little Mexico’s Authentic Mexican Food, Twyford BBQ, Dawn’s Taco, Mad Dog Concessions, Yummy Skippers Island Oasis and Sack’s Food Truck. Other attractions include shopping from the Itty Bitty Fashion Truck, live music from Big Daddy Jasper plus cold beer, wine, soft drinks and more. Admission is free and free parking is available in the lot across from the IDNR building. A portion of food truck sales will support the Illinois Conservation Fund.
