 BULLETIN BOARD | LGBT love On Saturday, June 18, join the Coalition of Rainbow Alliances for the 35 th Annual Pride Picnic. This summery gathering provides an opportunity for the LGBT community and its supporters to come together for fellowship, a picnic meal and a pleasant evening in the park. CORAL will provide a main meat dish along with potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans and beverages. Attendees are asked to bring a side dish to share. The picnic will occur rain or shine at shelter seven, located southwest of Lincoln Park’s Nelson Center. Since 2002, CORAL has operated in Springfield as a grassroots organization. Membership is free and open to all members of the LGBT community and its allies. Throughout the year, CORAL hosts a variety of fundraisers in support of their annual membership events including Springfield PrideFest in May, a Thanksgiving dinner in November and the Pride picnic in June.
