Richie Holiday did not grow up with a burning desire to be a comedian. He wanted to be an architect, but unfortunately he was terrible at math. A college professor suggested that Richie find something that he did so well that people would pay him for it. Richie tried his hand at stand-up comedy in 2001 for the first time, and after two weeks of regular open-mic night performances he was hired by a club as the house emcee. He then jumped headfirst into comedy and hasn’t looked back since. Today Richie Holiday is one of the most-requested comedians at comedy clubs all across the United States.
