BAND SPOTLIGHT | 2nd Chance Band

When you get a second chance you best make the most of it, and longtime local musicians Doug Bernet (drums), Marc Camp (vocals), Ralph Carbonell (guitar, vocals), Tom Jackson (bass, vocals) and Jeff Rocco (guitar, keyboard, vocals) are doing just that. With plenty shows around town and a sweet spot on Friday at the Bud Tent as one of only four bands doing Budweiser True Music Series gift and prize giveaways during fair gigs, these guys are on the make and on the move. Part of the amazing chemistry displayed by this fabulous five-piece comes from years of friendship dating all the way back to high school for Ralph, Tom, Jeff and Mark, with Doug now in the mix of good friends and good times. Taking no chances with the set list, these fellers list “rock, rocking country and party anthems” as the music they play, all favorites among the central Illinois set of bar going, fair attending, regular listeners.
