HISTORY | Walk where Lincoln walked Immerse yourself in Lincoln’s culture as you take a self-guided tour through mid-to-late 1800s homes in the Enos Park neighborhood. You’ll view half a dozen homes that Lincoln had various connections to during his time in Springfield such as the Governor Cullom Mansion, the General McClernand home, the Dr. Jayne home, the Ozias Hatch home, the William Kelly log cabin and more. The Enos Park neighborhood has recently undergone extensive renovation and revitalization, thanks to the Enos Park Neighborhood Association, so that it may once again be regarded as “The Crown Jewel of Springfield.” On May 2, from 1-4 p.m., stop by the Springfield Art Association, located at 700 N. Fourth St., to purchase and pick up your ticket and map for just $10 per person. More information about the Historic Home Tour and the Enos Park neighborhood can be found online at http://epnia.com.
