PETS | Petapalooza

Pet owners and their animal friends are invited to the annual Ani-Mall Pet Exposition on Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Illinois State Fairgrounds Exposition Building. This is your opportunity to shop vendor booths, seek advice from local vets, view pet demonstrations and participate in activities and games with your pet. If you are looking to adopt a new animal friend, you are in luck, as adoptable pets will be on site. The exposition also includes a Kids’ Zone, carnival games, plus a petting zoo hosted by Eagle Eye Alpaca and Llama Haven. Well-behaved pets on leashes are welcome, but in light of the recent dog flu epidemic no dogs will be permitted to come into contact with another dog, and dogs expressing any signs of respiratory illness or distress will not be admitted to the exposition.
