 HOLIDAY | All aboard the Polar Express Don your favorite Christmas jammies and climb aboard the Polar Express. The famed, fictitious train will stop in Springfield for a series of film showings and holiday pajama and hot cocoa parties at the Legacy Theatre Friday, Dec. 5, through Sunday, Dec. 7. Attendees are to arrive up to an hour and a half before the film’s scheduled start time to partake in a pre-show cocoa party complete with snacks and crafts. After the film, stick around for your chance to visit with and have your photo taken with one very special North Pole visitor. A “sensory friendly” screening of the film, perfect for children with autism and other learning disabilities, will be shown on Saturday, Dec. 6, with the cocoa party starting at 1 p.m and film to follow at 2 p.m. The Polar Express is rated G.
