ART | Anything goes

On Friday, Oct. 31, don your Halloween finest and join Springfield Sala and host Adam Nicholson in the Club Room at the Hoogland Center for the Arts for an openformat, anything goes open mic event. Guests are encouraged to sing, dance, perform a magic trick, sousaphone solo, poetry, prose – share your talent, whatever it may be! Not feeling inspired? No original work of your own? A variety of work by various local and small press authors will be available for performers to infuse with their own creative spin. There are no content limits, no age limits and no time limits, but performers are asked to be courteous and respectful of others in attendance. This event is held in conjunction with the seasonal 10 Artists exhibition, featuring pieces by 10 fine artists that will be on display in the same room from 5-8 p.m. A cash bar will be available.
