BAND SPOTLIGHT | Todd Wolfe Todd Wolfe befriended Sheryl Crow when she was a struggling backup singer in New York City and he too was “trying to make it” in the music business. Later, he joined her first live band in the wake of her early success and played the world for five years. He’s also associated himself with successful artists such as Mick Taylor, Carla Olson, Leslie West, Stevie Nicks, Phish and Faith Hill. Now he tours as a well-respected and much-admired bluesman steeped in the traditions of Hendrix, Clapton and Bloomfield, accompanied by incredibly talented young players in a power trio format. Joined live by Justine Gardner on bass and backing vocals, plus Roger Voss on drums and backing vocals, the finely tuned three-piece plays nearly every night of the week, criss-crossing the country to bring Wolfe’s music to the masses one jam at a time. Todd’s latest album, Miles to Go, is his eighth release and features guest performances by blues harpist Steve Guyger and organist John Ginty. See also
