BICYCLING | Wheels in motion This year’s Capital City Century is headed for new territory – historic Clayville, just east of Pleasant Plains. Riders can do loops from the Clayville food stop to add mileage before returning to the Knights of Columbus on Meadowbrook Road. In addition to 40, 56 and 100-mile route options, riders will have a first-ever 125-mile double metric option through Lincoln’s New Salem. A 10-mile family ride led by Jim “Magic” Percy and a 25-mile ride will also be offered. This annual recreational bicycle ride features well marked roads, SAG (support and gear) support, rest stop and a post-pedalin’ party with food and music by the Samba Llamas. The Historic Bicycle Ride, the day prior, starts and ends at a new venue, the Noll Law Center at the Lincoln Depot. Visit www.spfldcycling.org for details and registration options.
