BAND SPOTLIGHT | Hat Trick

Founded in 2010 by Barry Woodworth (drums, vocals) and Gene Bennett (guitar, vocals), in 2013 Hat Trick added former member of The Backliners, Steve Harvey (bass, vocals) to complete the rock power trio. All together these veterans of the area band scene bring to the stage nearly 90 years of combined time playing the well-loved and well-appreciated staples of classic rock. Come to a Hat Trick show and you can bet your bottom dollar you’ll hear songs from the Steve Miller Band, ZZ Top, Cheap Trick, Kiss, Doobie Brothers, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Bad Company, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Green Day and many other popular, listenable and danceable, sing-along songs. “Our goal is to show our audience a good time and make them want to come back and bring their friends,” says the traveling band. Not just limited to the Springfield clubs, Hat Trick plays all over the area, including Springfield, Jacksonville, Girard, Beardstown and the spots in between ready to rock to the classics.
