THEATER | Hijinks and hilarity

Roxy Theatricals presents the charming and unique musical A Day in Hollywood: A Night in the Ukraine Sept. 20-22, 26-29. The Broadway sensation, directed and choreographed by legend Tommy Tune, is like two plays in one. The first act before intermission features the usher corps from the famed Hollywood Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in a song-and-tap-dance salute to the golden age of classic Hollywood films. The second act, A Night in the Ukraine, is a Marx Brothers farce with Groucho, Harpo, Chico and the gang. Bar service opens in the Legacy Lounge 60 minutes prior to evening performances. Directed by Gary Shull, the cast includes local favorites Ed MacMurdo, Mary Young and Johnny Molson, pictured.
