HOLIDAY | Evening of the arts

Welcome in 2013 with the arts in downtown Springfield at 10 different locations. The Springfield Area Arts Council’s alcohol-free event features live music, dance, art and theatrical performances. Free afternoon activities for kids 12 years and under take place at Springfield High School. Enter from Washington and Parker for free parking, and use the SHS commons door. Fantastic Fireworks by Nostalgia Pyrotechnics at 6:15 p.m. at Fourth and Capitol kick off evening performances. Map out your night by visiting SpringfieldArtsCo.org. Admission buttons are available in advance online or at County Markets, Schnucks, Robbie’s, Recycled Records and the Springfield Area Arts Council office in the Hoogland Center for the Arts.
