HOLIDAY | Home sweet homes See the brick Italianate governor’s mansion or the Italianate home of the Edwards family or the Greek Revival-style Elijah Iles home or the Georgian-Revival home where the prominent family the Pasfields lived. Six historic houses will be decked out for the holidays in their old-time digs, Dec. 15, between noon and 5 p.m. A half hour Christmas concert at 12:30 p.m. will be performed by Sound Celebration Chorus at Lincoln Home’s Visitor Center. Abe and Mary will be visiting locations, 19th century carols sung and many sites will feature activities, interpreters and seasonal refreshments. This year from 1-4 p.m., depending on the weather and for a small fee, visitors can also take a horse-drawn trolley to visit the downtown homes. Tickets may be purchased the day of the event at the Elijah Iles House. See also
