A legal spat between THR & Associates and the public-television station that produces Antiques Roadshow is starting to get, well, old.

WGBH, the television station based in Boston, was back in federal court on Tuesday, saying that THR, which buys gold and silver at buying events nationwide, has reneged on an agreement to pay the station $215,000, most in monthly installments. The station also says that THR held buying events last month under the name Treasure Hunters Roadshow, despite a clause in the agreement that bars the company from using the word “roadshow.”

Motions filed Tuesday mark the second time that WGBH has asked a judge to enforce a settlement in the case reached last fall. All told, WGBH wants $232,500, plus $500 a day in late fees, plus 12 percent interest. Good luck with that.

THR is headed for bankruptcy, owes millions of dollars in taxes and is facing nearly 30 lawsuits, most filed by creditors, according to recent testimony in the divorce case of Jeffrey Parsons, THR’s president. An unknown number of payroll checks and checks written to customers who sold valuables have also bounced.
