NATURE | Bug out Friday evening, grab your night walking clothes, bug spray, flashlight and camera (if you are a night photographer) and head out to Adams Wildlife Sanctuary for an interesting program titled, Insects After Dark. Several local entomologists help the group attract and identify insects using a system of lights and screens at a woodland, prairie and wetland location on the grounds. Arrive at 8:30 p.m. when you can view Jim Wiker’s collection of specimens and sign in for the excursion. Vern LaGesse leads the group out into the night at 9 p.m. Volunteers will be on hand to escort participants back to the parking lot if needed. We think you’ll stay to the end and leave metaphorically itching for more.
