ART | Sun studio Lincoln Memorial Garden in spring is a canvas of stunning visual wonder in itself, but on April 30, numerous artists will set up shop along its paths and paint materpieces. Families can watch the work in progress and also build fairy houses using natural materials from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nature must stay in the Garden, but families will be given a photo of their fairy homes. Later in the day at 5 p.m., Art in the Garden wraps up with a reception and live auction of the art created during the day. Another aspect of this event is a juried art exhibition that will be on display in the Nature Center all day and auctioned off in a silent auction. You can preview and bid on the juried art on the Garden's website at www.lincolnmemorialgarden.org. A rain date for Art in the Garden is set for Sunday, May 1.
