BAND SPOTLIGHT | The Aspect The Aspect, conceived as a fluctuating group of musicians chosen for a purposeful project, has concentrated on those legendary lads from Liverpool, The Beatles, for the last few performances. With Jeff Helton (guitar, vocals), Brian Curtis (keyboards, vocals), Bill McKenzie (bass, vocals), Bob Wagner (drums) and Lori McKenzie (vocals, percussion), plus Nat Radwine (percussion) filling out the musician spots again, rest assured the fantastic Fab Four catalogue is in capable hands and able voices. The entertaining Stump the Band segment of the show has yet to be successful – as far as the stumping part goes – but is always a winner for those shouting out Beatles songs obscure and popular while the band plays the request with Mop Top enthusiasm and Beatlemania verve. With Beatles’ paraphernalia already adorning the walls at Lime Street, what better venue to pay tribute to one of the most creative and influential bands in music history. Odds are they’ll pass the audition and likely finish with blisters on their fingers. See also
