Forever Home Feline Ranch

Forever Home Feline Ranch is an organization created to provide a “forever home” to every cat in need. The ranch is a sanctuary where cats have a second chance to live a full life in a no-cage, no-kill environment. At the present time, the group is assisting local residents in keeping their companion pets by providing programs such as the Pet Food Bank and Vet Care Assistance (includes dogs).

Wish list:

• Pet taxis - all sizes

• Dry and dry cat and dog food

• Cat toys and dog toys

• Litter

• Gift cards: PetSmart, K-Mart, Lowe’s, Menards, Walmart, Petco, Big R and Target

• Cat brushes

• Crates

• Litter pans and scoops

• Copy paper

• Forever stamps

• Fleece material to make cat and dog mats

• Raffle items such as gift certificates, gift baskets or any items to put in baskets

Hoogland Center for the Arts

The Hoogland Center for the Arts is a nonprofit organization that provides the community with a venue to foster an understanding of and an appreciation for the arts, enhance artistic expression and communication, and to enrich community interaction.

Wish list:

• Volunteers to usher, assist with fundraising and office tasks

• Paper shredder

• U.S. postage stamps

• Toner

• Copier paper

• Office supplies

• Cleaning supplies/paper supplies

• Gift cards to help cover costs of set building (hardware stores) and costume design (fabric stores)

• Monetary donations towards the “Help Us Keep the Doors Open” Program

Grace Lutheran Food Pantry

The Holiday food Basket Project provides food baskets to local schools to help families who tend to “fall through the cracks.”

While each basket provides the ingredients for the holiday dinner, extra items are included to assist school age children who will not receive breakfast or lunch during the school break.

Food or cash donations are welcome.

Drop off items at 714 E. Capitol between 8:30-4:30.
