Monday, Feb. 8 at 6 p.m. in SIU School of Medicine’s south auditorium, Dr. Sonja Boone, M.D., speaks about health disparities among underrepresented minority groups. Feb. 4 through Feb. 26, view artifacts of African-American U.S. marshals in LLCC’s level one, east Menard hallway. Feb 10 at 2 p.m., Chatham Library runs the film, In the Heat of the Night, a 1967 whodunit detective story thriller set in Mississippi.
