The weekend celebration in Lincoln colors the skies with 35 hot air balloons at the Logan County Airport, while more than 70 artists paint the Art Fair downtown in Latham Park. A couple of the attractions’ highlights include the balloon evening glow at dusk. Crews fire up their apparatuses in a synchronized light display that is spectacular.

You can ride in a balloon on Saturday or Sunday morning, or for the weak-of-heart, take a tethered balloon journey on Friday or Saturday evening downtown. Call the Chamber at the number above to reserve your ride. Also downtown are carriage rides, live entertainment, wine tasting and, in Scully Park, a craft and flea market.
