For more than three decades folks have flocked to Clinton’s annual for its savory smoked ham, apple butter, corn on the cob, ham and beans, brats, pork chop and river rat potatoes. But delicious food is not all the festival has to offer. Old-time crafting, live entertainment, strolling musicians, face painting, pony rides and more than 300 flea market dealers are sure to keep the entire family busy. Enjoy the wonders of fall at Lincoln Memorial Garden’s annual , Oct. 10 and 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nature walks, turtle races, storytelling, children’s crafts, including log cabins and Abe and Mary Lincoln clothespin dolls, are sure to keep the little ones busy, while mom and dad occupy themselves observing demonstrations by flintknappers, herbalists, beekeepers, woodworkers and jewelers. Saturday’s stage performers include Jay Lowder, Second Harvest and The Gordons. Lil Spark performs a magic show and balloon sculptures in the children’s area. Tom Irwin, Manning & Lowder, and The River Ramblers perform Sunday on the main stage, with juggler and magician Troy Roark performing in the children’s area. Chili, pork chops, caramel apples and other goodies will also be sold. $3 per person or $10 per family.
