The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago holds its second annual Smart Money Week, seven days of seminars in several cities throughout Illinois to help the public learn more about spending, saving and borrowing money wisely. In Springfield, approximately 50 seminars will be sponsored by, and held at, local organizations, schools, libraries, banks and businesses. Topics covered include: budgeting, clutter, investing, home buying, running a small business, college costs, financial protection and more.
