 The Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce hosted the 2025 Minority Business Opportunity Awards on Thursday, June 26, at Sam’s Town Casino & Hotel in downtown Shreveport. Winners this year included the 2025 Business of the Year, Module X Solutions, and Lifetime Achievement Award went to Reginald W. Abrams Sr. The Top Business Professional of the Year was Byron Dawson from Centenary College of Louisiana. The Non-Profit Professional of the Year was C. Chanel Jackson – Families Helping Families Region 7. This year’s Small Business Owner of the Year was Brent Latin – Young Professionals Entertainment (YPE), and the Emerging Business of the Year went to The Squire Group, LLC.
