The Oaks of Louisiana on Oct. 10. The soiree honored the health
organization’s health care providers and friends and celebrated WK’s 100
years of doing a world of good. Trees full of twinkling lights drew
guests to the back of The Oaks’ 312 acres, where partygoers enjoyed

The Northwest Louisiana Archives at LSUS held
a 50th-anniversary celebration on Oct. 17. More than 1.5 million
photographic/negative images, 1,184 maps and 3,000 architectural
drawings are housed there, including personal papers, oral histories and
organizational records. They preserve the history and culture of the
