The Red River Revel Arts Festival revealed its 2024 theme, official poster and music lineup recently, to the delight of supporters. The 48th annual Revel, Sept. 28-Oct. 6, will feature a music lineup that includes Jefferson Starship as a headliner for opening on Sept. 28. The poster artwork was painted by artist Jason Rodriguez and is titled “Spirit of Louisiana.” The theme is “Vamonos Reidno (Let’s go together laughing).” —Photos by Jeremy Hernandez.

On Saturday, June 14, The Robinson Film Center hosted their annual fundraising party, The Robbys. This year’s party was Alfred Hitchcock-themed with recreated props from some of his famous movies decorating the multiple event spaces. Abby Singer’s Bistro provided the buffets of food for party goers, and Identity Crisis provided the live entertainment. Guests could also belt out their favorite theme songs in the karaoke theater. — Mark Crawford
