The Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce hosted the 32nd Annual ATHENA Leadership Award Luncheon on Nov. 9 at Sam’s Town Casino and Hotel. The ATHENA Leadership Award is presented to an individual who is honored for professional excellence, community service, and for actively assisting women in their attainment of professional excellence and leadership skills. There were 16 nominees from across Shreveport-Bossier, and Dr. Joslin Mar-Dai Pickens was honored with the top award. – Mark Crawford Van Osdell Crawford
