Just when you thought it couldn’t get any bigger or more over the top, the Christmas in the Sky team and the Shreveport Regional Arts Council pulled out all the stops when they took some 2,400 guests to “Broadway.” A sold-out hit with rave reviews, many said it was the best Sky ever, and that’s really saying something! Dozens of live performances and musical acts, over-thetop food overseen by Chef Ryan Gillespie and six other notable local chefs, and bars as far as the eye could see kept guests entertained and enthralled throughout the evening. It was a record-breaking night all the way around, and the festivities continued till after 2 a.m. —Mark Crawford
