CHRISTUS BOSSIER EMERGENCY HOSPITAL TEAM:
LEADING THE WAY WITH A NEW MODEL OF EMERGENCY CARE IN BOSSIER
CHRISTUS Bossier Emergency Hospital is proud to introduce the team leading this new concept in health care. The CHRISTUS Bossier Emergency Hospital is a micro-hospital, the first of its kind in the region. It is not a freestanding emergency room, it’s a hospital licensed by the State of Louisiana. It’s a new model of health care, offering an emergency room with six short-stay inpatient beds. Outpatient laboratory and imaging services are also available, including MRI, X-ray, CT, ultrasound and 3D digital mammography.
The partnership between CHRISTUS Bossier Emergency Hospital, Bossier Family Medicine and Sound Physicians will offer patients an
innovative new model versus a traditional hospital model. According to
CHRISTUS Shreveport- Bossier Health System CEO Isaac Palmer, “This will
be an easy-access environment where patients can get the best possible
care, and it’s a faith-based option now in Bossier. People have been
asking for a CHRISTUS choice in Bossier, so we’re happy to introduce
this new concept to the Bossier community.”
