Dr. Rodney Crews of Crews Chiropractic- Accident & Injury Clinic, is one local businessman who loves his job and his clients.

“When I began to think about starting a practice, I envisioned a clinic that would be very different from the norm—a special healing environment where patients would feel ‘at-home’ with their treatment,” said Crews. “A new patient may enter as a stranger, but they’ll leave as a friend and be treated like family.”

Crews, who has been a chiropractor for thirteen years, has his BA in Public Relations from Southern Methodist University, a BS in Anatomy from Parker University and a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Parker University.

Crews has plenty of sound advice for those looking for a chiropractor. “Besides choosing a chiropractor who is knowledgeable and experienced, of utmost importance is to find someone who is willing to sit and listen to you,” he said. “Far too often, doctors get in too big of a hurry and don’t spend time doing this important step. The time spent communicating is vital in being able to treat the symptoms and to truly diagnose and address the cause(s) of the problem. In my opinion, healing doesn’t occur until there is a level of trust between the doctor and the patient.”

Crews specializes in treating auto accident cases and other similar acute soft-tissue injuries. “I also treat patients for maintenance and preventative care,” said Crews. “My extensive post-graduate training has earned me a certification as a sports chiropractic physician as well as in Webster technique for specialized treatment during pregnancy.”

“I do what I do because I believe that this is where God intended me to be—so I really can’t see myself doing something different,” he said.

Rodney and his wife, Megan, are the proud parents of two boys, Maxwell and Henry.
