40 Under 40 Announcement Party

The Young Professionals Initiative held a 40 Under 40 announcement party Sept. 24 at the Petroleum Club. The names of this year’s class were announced during the party. The 40 Under 40 awards, presented by The Forum, will be presented during the gala Dec. 5 at the Shreveport Convention Center. The YPI Philanthropy of the Year and the Young Professional of the Year will also be announced during the gala.

J. Pat Beaird/Small Businesses of the Year

The Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce presented four awards to local businesses Oct. 1 at the Shreveport Convention Center. The prestigious J. Pat Beaird Award/Industry of the Year award went to Builders Supply Company Inc. The Shreveport Chamber and The Forum presented awards to three small businesses: ANECA Federal Credit Union, Ashley‘s Building and Construction and Roppolo’s Insulation LLC. Dan Clark gave a motivational speech during the luncheon.
