Home located in norris Ferry crossing community

Now in its seventh year, the House for Hope features an annual raffle for a new, luxury home with proceeds directed to Community Renewal’s Friendship Houses.

The House for Hope is a longstanding project between Community Renewal International, KSLA News 12 and the Home Builders Association of Northwest Louisiana.

The 2015 House for Hope is located at 1110 Cypress Creek Circle in Norris Ferry Crossing. This year’s House for Hope is built by local builder Brad Rivers of T&B Construction.

This southeast Shreveport subdivision is located just south of the intersection of Southern Loop and Norris Ferry Road. Designed in the Chateau French style, the 2,040-heated-square-foot home features updated amenities.

The floor plan includes four bedrooms and three full bathrooms.

The remote master suite has a walk-in closet with custom storage and en suite bathroom. Off the great room, a covered patio with a wonderful outdoor kitchen makes outdoor entertaining easy.

The stainless steel appliances in the kitchen are complemented by natural stone counters. In addition to the upgraded finishes and fixtures, the home includes the latest in structural and system technologies.

Tickets for the drawing are $100. Proceeds from the House for Hope are used by Community Renewal International to build Friendship Houses.

A Community Renewal Friendship House is a haven of hope in lowincome, high-crime neighborhoods.

Like a community center in a home, a Friendship House is a place for after-school education programs, character building, service projects, GED courses, tutoring, computer training, art and music lessons, family nights and much more.

The house is lived in by a community coordinator, employed by CRI and their family, who not only help the neighborhood – they become a part of it.
