In what promises to be a riveting hour, Marilyn Joiner shares the story of Oak Ridge, Tenn., during World War II – home to thousands of people, many young women, recruited to work on something that was hailed as war-ending work. They did not talk about what they knew or what they did. It was only much later they discovered the role they played in building the atomic bomb. Cost: $5, nonresidents. Registration is required.
