Learn through demonstration and discussion: safe and effective core and pelvic floor exercises, abdominal exercises to avoid during pregnancy and about the “neutral spine” and why it’s important. Prenatal Yoga Mondays, July 14, 21, 28 and Aug. 4, 11, 18, 6 – 7 p.m. WK Pierremont Health Center Auditorium 8001 Youree Drive Learn therapeutic yoga postures and breathing techniques that help you connect with the needs of your mind, body and spirit for each trimester. This gentle yoga session will alleviate many pregnancy discomforts like nausea, swelling, back pain and more. Pregnancy Fit Tuesdays, July 15, 22, 29 and Aug. 5, 12, 19, 6 – 7 p.m. WK Innovation Center Banquet Room, 2105 Airline Drive, Bossier City A total body conditioning class for expectant moms to help prepare you for the “sport of motherhood.” Cardio, strength training, core and pelvic floor conditioning, yoga-based cool down and an active relaxation segment are included in this class.
