General Cancer Support Group

Conducted by Eileen Czerwinski, MA Tuesdays, Noon, 4th Floor Conference Room This support group is designed to help patients and their loved ones discuss the emotional challenges and other concerns often faced by patients with cancer.

Look Good, Feel Better

Conducted by the American Cancer Society and Cosmetologists Monday, June 2, 11:30 a.m. 4th Floor Conference Room A two-hour hands-on workshop includes a 12-step skin care/make-up application lesson, demonstration of options for dealing with hair loss and nail care techniques. Participants receive complimentary cosmetic kits and instruction booklets.

Coping With …Cancer by Painting

Facilitated by Painting with a Twist Wednesday, June 11, Noon 2nd Floor Conference Room This special event utilizes painting to help patients cope with anxiety, stress and symptoms related to cancer.

Men to Men: Prostate Educational Group – Reel to Recovery

Presented by Michael Emerson, Texas State Coordinator, Reel to Recovery Wednesday, June 18, Noon 2nd Floor Conference Room This educational program gives cancer patients and their loved ones information on prostate related issues that will be of value before, during and after cancer treatment. Patients will also have the opportunity to discuss their concerns with knowledgeable healthcare professionals.
