With more than 20 years in sales, The Forum has hired Angela Haacker to lead the sales team of account executives for both CityLife and The Forum publications. Haacker, a Shreveport native of more than 28 years, comes to The Forum from The Shreveport Times, a Gannett-owned publication. “I just love the overall reputation that The Forum has in the community,” Haacker said. “It’s a very well-respected publication with a lot of creditability. ” Haacker is a Louisiana Tech University graduate and has had several roles at The Times. Her most recent role at The Times was multimedia local sales manager. Haacker has also won the Sales and Marketing Executive Award twice. This award is given to sales executives based on superior sales and service. “This year has been filled with so many positive changes. With the additions of Lydia Earhart as editor and our newest addition of our sales manager, Angela Haacker, we are really starting to evolve how our publication is growing in the community,” Publisher Jay Covington said. “We are thrilled to have Angela’s extraordinary level of expertise. Her professionalism, executive knowledge and experience will step up the sales team to another level. She already has some stellar ideas that will continue our growth.” Haacker said she was eager to work with The Forum staff. “This being our 25th anniversary year, is the beginning of a new time to focus on many changes to come with both publications,” Haacker said. “We have plenty of exciting things already in the works and I just can’t wait to meet with our great group of advertisers and tell them all about it.” Haacker resides in North Bossier with her husband Chris Haacker and 16-year-old triplets, Eric, Clifton and Walter.
