The Louisiana Film Prize has announced the Top 20 films at the Robinson Film Center. These 20 finalists will each be given $500 and an invite to show their finished film during LA Film Prize Weekend on Oct. 4-6. The Top 20 will each compete for a grand prize of $50,000. Here are the Top 20: “Stall” “The Sound of Trains” “Silo” “Seventeen Summers” “Self Storage” “Samson” “Running Girl” “Ruby and the Dragon” “Red River Ode” “Patience” “Necrophilia: A Love Story” “Lineman” “Last Call” “The Hummingbird” “The Elysium Equation” “El Gato “The Curators” “Clowns & Robbers” “Cabble” “5ive Courses” The LA Film Prize is a short narrative film contest with one rule: You have to shoot your film in the Shreveport-Bossier area. On Louisiana Film Prize weekend, two groups will determine the winner. A panel of celebs and film experts will account for 50 percent of the vote. The audience will determine the other 50 percent.
