According to valiulis.com, these short series of questions will give one an indication whether or not you may be suffering from OSA:

1. Does the person snore loudly enough to disturb others?

2. Does the person feel fatigued during the daytime, even after what they would consider a full night’s sleep?

3. Has a family member or partner observed the person not breathing while sleeping?

4. Does the person have high blood pressure? If your answer to two or more of these questions is YES the patient would be a candidate for further testing.

There are then four follow up questions:

1. Is the person’s body mass index (BMI) more than 35?

2. Is the person older than 50-years-old?

3. Does the person’s neck circumference more than 15.75 inches?

4. Is the person a male?

Again, if there are at least two YES responses to this set of questions, the patient is seen to be at high risk for OSA.
