The Shreveport-Bossier Convention & Tourist Bureau, along with its partners at the Shreveport Convention Center and Hilton Shreveport, announced details of the latest multi-state partnership, Rendezvous South on July 30.

This partnership will result in more meetings and conventions being held in Shreveport-Bossier City and other surrounding areas.

Participating destinations include: Shreveport-Bossier City, Baton Rouge and Kenner, Irving, Texas; Savannah, Ga.; and Jackson, Miss.

According to the website, “Rendezvous South is a collaboration aimed at finding solutions and making real connections.

“We want to make meetings planners’ lives better. So our group Rendezvous South, which includes world-renowned SMG facilities and various Southern meeting destinations, created this coalition of ‘like’ cities and experiences in the South.”

ConventionSouth Magazine is the presenting sponsor of the event. Rendezvous South will debut Dec. 2-4, at Shreveport Convention Center.
