The Evergreen Foundation hosted its 2013 Celebrity Waiter Dinner and Auction on May 9 at East Ridge Country Club. Presented by The Biedenharn Foundation, the event carried a theme of “Wild, Wild West!” Celebrity waiters for the event included Shreveport City Councilman Michael Corbin, KSLA Sports Director Adria Goins, Claiborne Parish Sheriff Ken Bailey and Lt. Bill Davis with the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Department, to name a few. Monies raised at the event support the Evergreen Foundation, which has provided services to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities since 1959. Today, Evergreen serves more than 1,300 people in six states across the South.
