 Fashion event showcases one-of-a-kind, handmade creations The Agora Borealis will be transformed into a highstyle runway for a night celebrating art and fashion. The Mardi Gras fashion show will highlight more than 75 local artists who have handmade pieces ranging from accessories to one-of-a-kind outfits. Katy Larsen, owner of The Agora Borealis, is hosting the event and hoping the fashion show will inspire a new kind of look for the upcoming Mardi Gras season. The event will be 8 p.m. Jan. 10 at The Agora Borealis, located at 421 Lake St. More than 40 looks walk the runway at the event. Tickets are available at The Agora Borealis. Also, the store is running a promotion – for every gift card purchase of $20 or more, customers will receive a free ticket. Make sure to get your ticket early because there is a limit of 200 tickets that will be sold.
