A result of the Elston’s search for custom cabinetry for their own home, Mary Ann said, “We realized there was a need for this type of showroom and have watched the business unfold as a resource for homeowners, architects, designers and contractors.”

Kitchen & Bath Cottage can walk clients through every stage of their remodeling evolution; from floor plans and elevations, 3D renderings and the selection process, to project management and construction, to the final finishing details. Kitchen & Bath Cottage boasts an impressive team; interior designers Kori Shurley and April Sharlow, Director of Sales and Marketing Mary Patten, business manager Brenda Lupo and sales associate Christopher Randel. Playing to their strengths, the Cottage team bring experience, creativity and integrity to each project.

Interior designer Kori Shurley brings over 10 years of residential design experience to projects, and has had her work featured in the Parade of Homes and several publications. Committed to the vision of the homeowners, she says, “Our main goal is to create something special for each and every client.” Kori focuses on communicating effectively with her clients and offers her knowledge to guide them to smart choices to fit their needs.

April Sharlow, a licensed interior designer for over 10 years, has been with Kitchen & Bath Cottage for 2 years, and is NCIDQ certified and a member of the American Society of Interior Designers. April emphasizes the everyday needs of her clients, creating spaces centered around how the family lives and interacts in their home. She says, “Kitchens should be designed around what is truly important – food, fun and family.”

In 2013, Kitchen & Bath Cottage opened their expanded showroom in Pierremont Common shopping center; this new space allows Kitchen & Bath Cottage to bring the best in custom cabinetry, fixtures tile, countertops and more to the area.

Each element of every remodel is carefully considered and the nation’s top brands are represented in Kitchen & Bath Cottage’s ever-expanding repertoire. They have developed a space that holds a unique place in our area’s home design market; “There is no other business in Shreveport with true custom cabinetry that we like to call fitted furniture” Mary Ann said. They also feature a special room with tile samples, which gives clients access to both Walker Zanger and Artistic Tile, the only one of its kind in North Louisiana and East Texas. “Another product that is really taking off is a Solatube Daylighting,” Mary Ann said, “which brings natural daylight into areas that don’t have windows.”

Kitchen & Bath Cottage offers a range of brands and product lines, including cabinetry by Wood-Mode, Bentwood and KitchenCraft, appliances by Wolf, SubZero, La Cornue, Miele, Fisher & Paykel, Whirlpool and Kitchen-Aid. They also feature Phantom Screens and interior doors, Solar Star attic fans, plumbing fixtures and hardware.
