Community Servings is a local nonprofit that delivers medically tailored meals to folks living with severe and chronic illnesses in Massachusetts and Rhode Island and provides food service job training to those with barriers to full-time employment.

For $35 you can order an apple, pumpkin or pecan pie from the organization. These pies are donated by Boston-area bakers and restaurants, so you get a flavorful Thanksgiving pie and that money goes straight back into the nonprofit. It’s the most delicious donation you’ll make all year.

Sweet Teez Bakery

196 Quincy St., Dorchester Sweet Teez Bakery is having a big year. They’re in the process of opening their first brick-andmortar shop at 1211 Dorchester Ave. But until their physical doors are open, they’re still offering pies and other goodies for delivery with at least seven days notice. Be sure to call and check on their schedule during this busy time.

This local, woman-owned bakery is 100% nut-free and safe for those with nut allergies. They offer cherry, pumpkin, sweet potato, key lime, blueberry and apple pies. Many of their pies also come in a three-inch mini version that can be purchased in bulk for easy, and charming, individual portions.

Flour Bakery offers pies and other Thanksgiving dishes for pickup and delivery within 15 miles of Boston. Order pecan, apple, pumpkin, chocolate cream or a Piefecta, a combination of sweet potato, pecan and brown sugar pie.

Orders are open now for pickup or delivery on Tuesday, Nov. 25 or Wednesday, Nov. 26. For those with allergies, Flour offers a gluten-free version of the pumpkin and chocolate cream pies.

Petsi Pies

There are nine different 10-inch pies on the Petsi Pies menu for Thanksgiving pre-orders. In addition to the usual suspects, find flavors like mixed berry, chocolate bourbon pecan and a vegan apple option on the list.

Pies can be ordered up to Nov. 20 and are available for pickup at the Petsi Pies shop Tuesday, Nov. 25 or Wednesday, Nov. 26.
