For the 3rd straight year and 7th time in the last 9 years, the young ladies of Cathedral High School have been crowned the Division 4 champions of the MIAA (Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association).

The latest chapter in this dynastic title run came in the form of a 68-37 demolition of South Hadley High School in this year’s D4 championship game-completing a 19-win 5-loss season.

Vice Principal and Head Coach Clinton Lassiter deserves special mention for the building and sustaining of the Lady Panthers dynasty, but he is the first to claim that his players deserve all the credit.“Over the years I have stood on the thinking that it is all about players who are willing to accept coaching. That has been the case with the majority of the players who have played for me and worn the Cathedral uniform. We are just trying to keep the dynasty going”, says the highly successful coach, a product of Roxbury Basketball.
