 Josh Kraft, president, New England Patriots Foundation Josh Kraft, president of the New England Patriots Foundation and son of Patriots owner Robert Kraft, has decided to run for mayor of Boston, sources close to him confirmed. A spokesperson for Josh Kraft declined to comment, but sources told NewsCenter 5 that an official announcement could be expected in early February. Josh Kraft leads his family’s philanthropic efforts. He also spent 30 years with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston. The Williams College and Harvard Graduate School of Education graduate serves on the boards of Brandeis University, Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Herren Project. He is a co-chair of the Hate Crimes Task Force for Massachusetts and chair of the board of the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts.
