Spring 2025 classes begin soon, and it’s not too late to enroll!

Spring courses begin on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, spring access courses begin on February 3, 2025, and late-start spring classes begin on March 24, 2025.

In Boston, you have many options to consider when deciding where to study. RCC is an excellent choice, because:

- Class Schedules are Based on Your Needs — We know that you are busy and that not every student can attend classes during the day. We offer evening courses, Saturday courses, and online courses so that you can earn a degree while you work. RCC’s support services are available both in-person and online, so you can access support from our traditional or virtual campus.

- You Can Attend RCC For Free! — The MassEducate and MassReconnect programs allow all Massachusetts residents who have not yet earned a bachelor’s degree to attend {college} for free. No tuition. No fees. And both programs include an allowance for books and supplies for certain students. Boston residents may also qualify for the Tuition-Free Community College program. If you do not qualify for a tuition-free program, don’t worry!

RCC is proud to offer various financial assistance programs.

- Location, Location, Location — Located in the middle of Boston, RCC’s 16-acre, 6-building campus is within walking distance of Nubian Square, the Longwood Medical District, and Boston’s Avenue of the Arts. Directly across the street from the Roxbury Crossing T station, RCC is also a 5-minute walk from Jackson Square with multiple MBTA bus stops across the campus. Did we mention that RCC students can park for free in one of RCC’s parking lots? It’s not only easy to get to RCC; once you’re here, you’re steps away from art, music, culture, and Boston’s top employers.

- All Courses Transfer — All courses at RCC transfer to four-year institutions. You can begin your studies at RCC and transfer your credits to any four-year school when the time comes. Our Office of Transfer Services offers dedicated, one-on-one support, ensuring you receive personalized guidance on transfer options and that your RCC transcripts reach transfer institutions on time.

- Our Facilities are New and Improved — In 2017, RCC completed a major campus improvement project, and we didn’t stop there! The Media Arts Center now includes a renovated auditorium, with a new BOSE sound system, new lighting system, and more. The academic building includes a new Student Commons (with A/V upgrades added in Spring 2022), Library, Learning Center, STEM labs, and study areas. The Heath Sciences building includes a mock hospital with the same technology used in major research hospitals. At RCC, your future is our focus, and our campus was built to ensure your longterm career success!

In addition to offering free community college, RCC takes pride in providing students with the non-academic support needed for success. The Office of Project Access provides students with assistance obtaining SNAP benefits, reduced-fare MBTA passes, tax prep assistance, housing assistance, and more. The Rox Box, RCC’s on-campus food pantry, provides students with shelf-stable food, hygiene products, and more. The Wellness Center, which includes behavioral health resources, proudly serves all RCC students.
