Past and present cast members of the Oscar Micheaux Family Theater Program Company.

On May 13 the Bridge Awards ceremony for the Oscar Micheaux Family Theater Program Company were held at the Vine Street Community Center.

For over 25 years, the company’s performances have taught about social justice, challenges and triumphs during a time to be known as the Harlem Renaissance Era. The program was restarted after a one year hiatus due to the COVID pandemic.
